TESMEC SPA 

Tesmec SpA was founded in Bergamo (Italy) in 1951. The company started with the design and the production of machines and equipment for low, medium and high voltage power line laying. In 1960 the company had the patent for the construction of the "hydraulic brake-machine" for the stringing of overhead electric power lines and for laying underground cables for power and telecommunications. TESMEC became world market leader in equipment for all kind of utilities, and still is over the years. Recently the company moved into new facilities of 33.000 covered square meters built in Grassobbio (Bergamo).

TESMEC USA INC.

Tesmec USA, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Texas in May, 1984. Tesmec USA began with a two rooms office suite in Arlington, Texas, with a month to month rent. In December, 1984, Tesmec USA moved into a 19,000 square foot assembly facility in Grand Prairie, Texas. Tesmec USA delivered its first track trencher in March 1985 to M.C. Ethridge Construction in New Braunfels, Texas. They still own and operate the machine today. In 1988, Tesmec USA leased a 48,000 square foot assembly facility in Mansfield, Texas. In 1996, Tesmec USA moved into its new assembly facility of 75,000 square feet plus 10 acres in Alvarado, Texas. Today, Tesmec has hundreds of track trenching machines working in the hardest of conditions throughout the world.
